A lucky confluence of geographic features accounts for the famously mild Todos Santos microclimate. Cooler in summer and warmer in winter than the rest of the Baja peninsula—thanks to the cooling factor of the Pacific Ocean—Todos Santos features nearly perfect weather from November to June, with warm sunny days and crisp cool nights. And the warmth of the equatorial sun means the area also enjoys the dry temperate climate of land further north.
The climate around Todos Santos has allowed hundreds of species of flora and fauna to flourish in dozens of microclimates. So unique is the area that UNESCO has designated it as a Biosphere Reserve. You don’t see that every day.
